When multiplying make sure that you align your product in the appropriate column, as shown in the illustration below. The numbers that are highlighted are the ones that are being calculated in each step. You can use the same steps for multiplying three or four digit numbers. Take a look....

The video below shows you how to solve multiplication questions that involve multiplying two digit and three digit numbers. The format and procedures are the same, all numbers must be lined up properly. Do not confuse yourself with the placement of the numbers. The best way to practice is on graph paper as it will guide you to place one number in only one box. Take a look, and you may use this video to solve the multiplication questions I have assigned you for tomorrow.
